This policy explains what farhantanvir.com stores in your browser and why.
What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files a website can place in your browser. Local storage and session storage are related browser mechanisms that let a site keep small amounts of data on your device. All three are referred to here as browser storage.
What this website uses
Strictly necessary storage only.
This website uses browser storage for functions without which it cannot work as intended:
| Purpose | Mechanism | Retained |
|---|---|---|
| Keeping an administrator signed in | Local storage | Until sign-out or expiry |
| Cross-site request protection for administrative actions | Session storage or cookie | Session |
| Remembering your reduced-motion or theme preference | Local storage | Until you clear it |
These are used only for site functionality and security. They are not used for advertising, cross-site tracking or profiling.
Most visitors never trigger the administrative entries at all, since those exist only after signing in to the administration portal.
Analytics
Analytics is not currently enabled on this website. No analytics cookies are set and no analytics scripts are loaded.
Because only strictly necessary storage is in use, no consent banner is displayed. If optional analytics or marketing cookies are introduced in future, a consent manager will be added, those cookies will be blocked until consent is given, and this policy will be updated before any such cookie is set.
Web fonts
This website loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. The font stylesheet is bundled into the site at build time, but the font files themselves are requested from fonts.gstatic.com when a page loads. That request reveals your IP address and browser details to Google, which handles it under its own privacy policy.
Google Fonts does not set cookies for this purpose. If you prefer to avoid the request entirely, blocking that domain leaves the site fully usable — it simply renders in your system's fallback typefaces.
Third-party content
Pages that embed external content, or links you follow to external sites such as repositories or professional profiles, are governed by those providers' own policies. Following an external link may result in that provider setting its own cookies, which is outside our control.
Controlling browser storage
You can view, block and delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Instructions are published by each browser vendor.
Blocking strictly necessary storage will not prevent you from reading the public website, but it will prevent the administration portal from keeping you signed in.
