Scope

This policy applies to every payment made to Farhan Tanvir in connection with services described on this website or agreed through a quotation, invoice, proposal or written agreement.

It applies in addition to the Terms and Conditions and to your specific written agreement. Where your written agreement states something different about scope or deliverables, that agreement governs those matters — but the no-refund rule in this policy applies unless your agreement expressly states otherwise in writing.

How payment terms are set

This website does not display prices. The amount, currency, payment method, milestone structure, applicable taxes and due dates for any engagement are established only in the applicable quotation, invoice, proposal or written agreement.

Nothing on this website constitutes a quotation or a binding offer.

When work begins

Work begins only after the required advance payment, or the relevant milestone payment, has been received and cleared.

Scheduling, resource allocation and delivery dates are confirmed relative to the date payment is received, not the date it is initiated or promised.

What a payment covers

A payment may reserve time, capacity and resources that are then unavailable to other clients. Depending on the engagement, a payment may cover any of the following, whether or not a tangible artifact is produced:

  • consultation and advisory sessions
  • discovery, assessment and analysis work
  • architecture, planning and design work
  • development, implementation and testing effort
  • subscriptions, licences, infrastructure or third-party services procured for the engagement
  • digital deliverables, documentation and source materials

Value is delivered through the time, expertise and capacity committed. This is the basis on which payments are treated as final.

No refunds

No refund, return, exchange, cancellation credit, chargeback accommodation or partial refund is available after a payment has been made. This applies regardless of:

  • a change in your requirements, priorities, budget or business circumstances
  • a decision to cancel, pause, postpone or abandon the engagement
  • dissatisfaction with an outcome where the agreed scope has been performed
  • work already reserved, scheduled or performed at the time of cancellation
  • a change of mind after payment

Client delays

Engagements depend on your timely provision of content, access, credentials, environments, feedback, decisions and approvals.

Delay in providing any of these may extend timelines and may reduce the work that can be completed within a scheduled period. Such delays do not create any right to a refund, credit or reduction in fees.

Where a delay materially affects delivery, revised scheduling is agreed in writing, subject to availability.

Duplicate and erroneous transactions

The no-refund rule applies to valid payments.

If you believe a payment was duplicated or resulted from a technical processing error, report it promptly — within 7 days of the transaction — to [email protected], with the transaction reference, date, amount and supporting evidence.

Such reports will be investigated in good faith, and a genuine duplicate or technically erroneous charge will be corrected. This provision does not create any exception to the no-refund rule for valid payments, and investigation of a report is not an acknowledgement that any amount is owed.

Taxes and transaction charges

Unless the applicable quotation or invoice states otherwise, quoted amounts exclude taxes, duties and levies, which are your responsibility where they apply.

Bank charges, payment gateway fees and currency conversion costs incurred in making a payment are your responsibility and are not reimbursed.

Failed or reversed payments

If a payment fails, is reversed, or is charged back after work has commenced, work may be suspended immediately, and any deliverables, licences or access provided may be withheld until the position is resolved.

Acceptance

You must actively confirm your acceptance of this Payment Policy before making any payment or accepting any quotation. A link to this policy is provided at every payment action, quotation acceptance and checkout confirmation point.

If you do not accept this policy, do not make a payment.

Changes

This policy may be updated. The version in effect at the time of your payment is the version that applies to that payment. The effective date shown on this page reflects the current version.
